IT-Risk, Compliance and Resilience
Project: PESIT Risk: Process-oriented Evaluation and Simulation of IT Risk
Project description
The project "process-orientated evaluation and simulation of IT risks" (PESIT-Risk) develops a simulation environment which is able to model and simulate business processes as well as control processes. Goal of the PESIT Risk project is to establish a "workbench" which serves as a test and development environment for other projects as well as for students.
The challenge for businesses in the future will be to chose IT services for the execution of business processes quickly and in an adaptive way. A value-orientated business management does not only consider the resulting costs but also the risks which go along with the choice. Goal of the "PESIT Risk" project is to establish a test environment where different measurement and evaluation processes, respectively, the reduction and avoidance of IT risks can be tested.
