Project: SEMPER: Secure Electronic Marketplace for Europe
Project description
SEMPER is a research project funded by the European Commission under the Advanced Communication Technologies and Services (ACTS) programme. SEMPER is aiming at developing the fundamentals for secure electronic commerce by providing the first open and comprehensive solutions for secure commerce over the Internet and other public information networks. SEMPER will use and integrate existing architectures, tools, and services where appropriate, and state-of-the-art digital signature techniques will be used for authentication. Early trials will be performed on WWW, and subsequent trials on ATM-based broadband networks will
